Hello! I'm Dr. Carrie Hutchinson, author of Change Agent Toolkit. In addition to being a writer,  I am also a professor, activist, consultant, and trainer.  My M.A. is  from California State University Fullerton in Interpersonal Communication with a focus on the science of attitudinal and behavioral change, and my Ph.D.  is from  UCSB in Communication Studies with an interdisciplinary emphasis in psychology and a focus on intergroup perception. My research and publications examine the human experience through the lens of Communication Studies. I am a full-time professor in the Communication Department at Santa Barbara City College where I teach Interpersonal Communication and Leadership for a Global Society, and serve as an advocate for a more equitable, just, and inclusive campus.
